Acceptance
By installing or using the Satori Tab Chrome extension ("Satori Tab"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't install or use Satori Tab. These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which explains how Satori Tab handles data.
License to use Satori Tab
Satori Tab is provided free of charge for personal use. You're granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Satori Tab on devices you control, for as long as these terms are in effect. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer for competitive purposes, or redistribute Satori Tab outside the Chrome Web Store's own sharing mechanisms.
Your content
Notes, to-do items, habit entries, bookmarks, and any other content you create inside Satori Tab remain entirely yours. Satori Tab doesn't claim any ownership over it, doesn't transmit it anywhere (see the Privacy Policy), and you're solely responsible for backing it up — since it lives in your browser's own storage, uninstalling Satori Tab or clearing browser data can remove it permanently.
Third-party content
Satori Tab's News Feed widget displays headlines and summaries pulled directly from publishers you choose to subscribe to. Satori Tab does not write, edit, fact-check, or endorse that content — it's a reader, not a publisher. Any AI-assistant prompt Satori Tab helps you draft about a news article is likewise a convenience for your own use; Satori Tab does not perform, verify, or endorse the resulting analysis. Similarly, any ambient sound, weather data, or search suggestion shown in Satori Tab comes from the third-party source named in the Privacy Policy, and that source's own terms apply to its use.
Support & donations
Satori Tab includes an optional link to Ko-fi for anyone who wants to support its development. This is a voluntary, external donation — Satori Tab does not process payments itself, does not gate any feature behind it, and remains fully free whether or not you use it. Ko-fi's own terms apply to any transaction made there.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Satori Tab to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system Satori Tab connects to.
- Interfere with or overload the third-party services Satori Tab relies on (news feeds, weather, search, sync).
- Reverse-engineer Satori Tab in order to build a competing product from its source.
- Use Satori Tab in any way that violates applicable law.
No warranty
Satori Tab is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that Satori Tab, or the third-party services it depends on (news feeds, weather data, search suggestions, Chrome sync), will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — a feed publisher going offline or changing its format, for instance, is outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Satori Tab's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Satori Tab — including loss of data stored in your browser. Because Satori Tab stores your content locally rather than on a server we control, we have no ability to recover it on your behalf if it's lost.
Changes to Satori Tab or these terms
Satori Tab may be updated over time, including changes to its features or these terms. Continued use of Satori Tab after an update constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where practical, in the Chrome Web Store listing's changelog.
Termination
You can stop using Satori Tab at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome — no account to cancel, no data held on our end to delete on your behalf, because none exists. We may also discontinue Satori Tab or remove it from the Chrome Web Store at our discretion; your locally stored data is unaffected by that decision and remains on your device until you remove it yourself.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
